Educational Media Foundation K-LOVE & Air1 Media Networks appoint Todd Woods as Chief Legal Officer
Todd Woods has been appointed as Chief Legal Officer at Educational Media Foundation, a growing faith-based organization and parent company of KLOVE and Air1 radio networks. A nationwide, comprehensive search was led by Roland Lundy, Partner, and Stephanie Conger, Associate.
“It was an honor to work with the EMF Board on their search for a new Chief Legal Officer. The opportunity to represent a faith organization impacting global culture was humbling. Todd Woods was the right person for KLove and Air 1. His legal background, combined with his personal faith makes him the perfect choice for the growth that KLove will expect in the future,” says Roland Lundy.
Prior to his new role at EMF, Woods served as Nissan North America’s Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary and Lowe’s Companies, Inc.’s Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary. He earned his undergraduate degrees and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi and his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law.
Educational Media Foundation broadcasts on more than 1,000 signals across all 50 states to 18 million listeners weekly, EMF is also among the top 10 U.S.-based audio streaming companies, currently steaming in 189 countries. In recent years, EMF has expanded to include WTA Media (faith-based films and publishing), AccessMore (podcasting launched in 2021), K-LOVE On-Demand (video streaming), and more. Woods brings a wealth of experience with global corporations and organizations in transition, benefitting EMF as they enter their 40th year and moving the headquarters from Northern California to the Nashville area – the heart of the Christian entertainment industry.
