Shearwater Health has appointed Raghavendran Someswaran as Senior Vice President of Operations.

Shearwater Health, founder of the nation’s first Clinical Process Outsourcing (CPO®) model, has named Raghavendran Someswaran as Senior Vice President of Operations. Since its founding in 1973, Shearwater Health has evolved alongside the healthcare industry, expanding its global footprint to support payers, providers, and workers’ compensation and disability organizations through clinician-driven solutions.

In this role, Raghavendran will report to the Chief Operating Officer and provide executive leadership across the organization’s Provider services. He will focus on strengthening strategic client partnerships, ensuring delivery excellence, and aligning operational teams to drive high-quality, value-based outcomes, while serving as a senior client advocate across the enterprise.

Raghavendran brings more than 20 years of experience leading large-scale, global healthcare operations and complex client portfolios. Most recently at Accenture, he led cross-continental clinical operations and strategic client engagements across the U.S., India, and the Philippines, overseeing large clinical teams and driving operational transformation. His background includes scaling service lines, supporting significant account growth, introducing technology-enabled solutions, and partnering closely with payer and provider clients to improve performance, efficiency, and long-term value.
