Adena Health has appointed Meghann Ackley as Vice President of System Finance

Adena Health, an independent, not-for-profit, and locally governed healthcare organization, has named Meghann Ackley as Vice President of System Finance. For more than 125 years, Adena Health has fulfilled its mission of being “called to serve our communities” while providing comprehensive healthcare services across south-central and southern Ohio. The organization employs more than 4,200 team members, including over 200 physicians and 150 advanced practice providers, and serves more than 360,000 residents across nine counties through a network of more than 40 locations.

Reporting to Associate Chief Financial Officer Jeff Craft, Meghann will serve as a key member of Adena Health’s senior leadership team and provide oversight of the system-wide corporate finance function, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, accounts payable, payroll, and operational finance. She will play a critical role in advancing Adena Health’s strategic and financial objectives while partnering closely with executive leadership, the Board’s Finance Committee, and key external stakeholders.

Meghann brings more than 15 years of healthcare finance leadership experience across critical access hospitals, federally qualified health centers, and healthcare consulting. Most recently, she served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance at Highland District Hospital, where she led financial operations, revenue cycle, accounting, and strategic financial planning. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong track record of strengthening financial performance, improving operational efficiency, managing complex funding programs, and leading organizational transformation initiatives. Prior to joining Highland District Hospital, she held leadership roles with Deloitte, advising healthcare and tax-exempt organizations on financial and regulatory matters. Meghann earned both her MBA and Bachelor of Business Administration from Ohio University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
