AnMed Appoints Michelle Harrison as Director of Organizational Development

AnMed, an independent, not-for-profit health system serving Upstate South Carolina and northeast Georgia, has appointed Michelle Harrison as Director of Organizational Development. Michelle joins AnMed as the organization continues to invest in enterprise learning and development, leadership capability, and a strong, patient-centered culture across its health system.

In her role, Michelle will lead the design and execution of system-wide initiatives in learning, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. She will partner closely with executive leaders and clinical and non-clinical teams to drive continuous learning, performance improvement, and change management in support of AnMed’s strategic and regulatory goals.

Michelle brings deep experience in healthcare organizational development, quality, and performance improvement. Her background includes senior leadership roles within healthcare systems, as well as consulting leadership experience supporting organizations in performance management, succession planning, competency-based HR systems, and DEI. Most recently, she served as Senior Organization Development Consultant at Children’s Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Michelle’s systems-focused approach and passion for shaping culture through meaningful, people-centered interventions make her a strong addition to AnMed.
