Beacon Health has appointed Shawn Videan as Executive Director of Laboratory Services

Beacon Health System, a locally owned, not-for-profit independent health system, has named Shawn Videan as Executive Director of Laboratory Services. Headquartered in South Bend, Beacon operates eleven hospitals and more than 270 care sites across ten counties and two states, with a mission rooted in compassion, trust, and clinical excellence. Beacon Health System remains dedicated to providing exceptional care while reinvesting in people, facilities, and innovation to support the long-term health of the communities it serves.

In this role, Shawn will lead Laboratory Services across Beacon Health System and will oversee the delivery of high-value, market-leading laboratory services aligned with Beacon’s strategic goals and regulatory standards. Shawn brings more than a decade of experience in laboratory operations and leadership, most recently serving in key leadership roles at Labcorp and Ascension. His background reflects a strong commitment to operational excellence, team development, and high-quality laboratory service delivery. He holds a Master of Science in Managing Biomedical Laboratory Operations from Michigan State University.
