Echo Power has appointed Eric Cooley as Chief Financial Officer.

Echo Power is an independent engineering and project management firm specializing in the design, construction, and maintenance of critical electrical and mechanical systems across the healthcare, utility, and industrial sectors. With expertise spanning low-, medium-, and high-voltage infrastructure, Echo Power delivers smart, reliable solutions that upgrade essential facilities, safeguard operations, and ensure continuity for hospitals, power plants, substations, and industrial sites nationwide. Guided by a mission to develop partnerships that build, upgrade, and maintain infrastructure that improves lives, the company is driven by long-standing relationships with customers, vendors, and employees alike.

In this role, Eric will report to Chief Executive Officer Scotty Carroll and lead Echo Power’s financial strategy and operations as the company continues to scale. He will partner closely with executive leadership to support disciplined growth, strengthen financial performance, and advance key strategic initiatives as the organization expands its national footprint.

Eric brings more than 20 years of finance and executive leadership experience within the construction, engineering, and building materials industries. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Strack, Inc., where he acted as a strategic advisor to ownership and supported significant revenue growth. His background also includes senior finance leadership roles with J.R. Hobbs, Osburn Contractors, and Forterra, Inc., as well as more than a decade with HeidelbergCement and Hanson Building Products, where he progressed through FP&A, corporate development, and divisional finance leadership roles in a global organization.

Eric holds a Master of Business Administration from Campbell University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Information Systems from Longwood University.
