Stormont Vail Health has appointed Aaron Wootton as Chief Information Officer

Stormont Vail Health, a financially strong, nonprofit integrated health system serving Kansas for more than 130 years, has appointed Aaron Wootton as Chief Information Officer. Known for its commitment to compassionate, high-quality, and efficient care, Stormont Vail continues to advance its mission to improve the health of the communities it serves across its Topeka, Junction City, and Manhattan campuses.

In this role, Aaron Wootton will serve as Chief Information Officer, leading Stormont Vail’s technology strategy, digital innovation, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and enterprise information systems to support clinical and operational excellence.

Aaron brings more than 20 years of healthcare IT leadership experience, most recently as Chief Digital Officer at Avarion, where he advised organizations on digital maturity, AI, analytics, and emerging technologies. He previously served as CIO for Concord Hospital Health System, where he advanced digital access tools, strengthened infrastructure, achieved HIMSS Stage 7, and delivered strong budget performance.

With extensive experience in digital transformation and enterprise technology leadership, Aaron will help strengthen Stormont Vail’s IT capabilities and support high-quality, patient-centered care across the region.
